Our company had our annual Company Camp from Thursday 15 November to Saturday 17 November 2012 at Aloha Changi Netheravon Terraces Chalets. Having booked all 6 chalet units along that stretch, we had a great time there with everyone staying comfortably together in 18 bedrooms, and more-than-sufficient amenities including 12 washrooms, 6 kitchens, 12 barbecue pits, and a huge assembly area in front of our chalet units.
After some team building activities in school on Day 1, we proceeded via chartered bus to the chalets at Changi, and checked in by late afternoon. Thereafter we had evening games and bonding time. We all woke early after a good night’s rest on Day 2 (Friday) anticipating a great day ahead cycling in Pulau Ubin, and true enough, the day’s programmes went on brilliantly as we all had a memorable cycling adventure at Pulau Ubin. In teams, we went about accumulating points at various stations around the island manned by our very own Sec 3 student leaders. Thanks be to God that the weather was fine throughout the day. In fact, it was the only day in the entire month of November that there was no downpour. It was a great blessing and we ended off the day with a fine barbecue dinner with one another at our chalets and an evening of fun and entertainment as the various groups performed during Gala Night.\
Day 3 arrived and we returned back to NHHS having had a wonderful time at Changi. We continued with some team building games and activities in school, before concluding the camp just after lunch. We look forward to many other memorable camps and events coming up in 2013.
